The towering Pagoda Mountain and the rippling Yanhe River. Yan'an is the holy land of Chinese revolution and a "red" lighthouse for Chinese communists. From 1935 to 1948, the old-generation proletarian revolutionists represented by Mao Zedong spent 13 years living and fighting here. They worked out splendid plans to win victories in battles a thousand miles away. They led and commanded China's Anti-Japanese War and War of Liberation. They laid a solid foundation for the People's Republic of China and cultivated an ever-bright Yan'an Spirit, and composed great touching historic chapters.

On May 18, Juxin International Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. organized a study activity themed Inheriting the Yan'an Spirit and Forging Ahead with Great Resolve, where the Party Branch of our company led its officers, Party members and activists to Yan'an the holy land, to explore the true meaning of Yan'an Spirit.

"I volunteer to join the Communist Party of China...." After one day of study, the participants went over the Party Oath in front of the Yan'an Revolutionary Memorial Hall facing the Party Flag. Their training began there. They read out the sacred oath with sonorous voices. Each character they articulated was a carrier of their loyalty to the Communist Party of China, and further imprint the glorious moments of the Party on their mind.

As they visited the Yan 'an Revolutionary Memorial Hall, Nanniwan Large Scale Production Exhibition Hall, the old site of the Artillery Academy, factories of the Artillery Academy and other revolutionary bases, and as the commentator explained how the leaders of the Party Central Committee at that time led to produce food and clothing by themselves in the extreme difficulties during the war, pictures of the 359^th Brigade reclaiming in Nanniwan to "produce food and protect the Party Central Committee with hoes and guns" and gaining good harvest became clearer in their mind. They had a better understanding of how the Party members in those days, practicing the Nanniwan Spirit advocating self-dependence and working hard and living in simple life, opened up a fertile land in the desolate northern Shaanxi.

In the following days, they visited Wangjiaping Revolutionary Site, Zaoyuan Revolutionary Site and Yangjialing Revolutionary Site. They listened to the stories of Mao Zedong, Zhu De and other Party Central Committee leaders, in a humble command, commanding the soldiers and civilians in various base area behind enemy lines to fight the Anti-Japanese War lasting for eight years and attain victory against the all-out attack by Kuomintang. They deeply felt the determination and great efforts of Chinese communists to serve the people in the revolutionary years. Every brick and tile here was telling about the great passion of Chinese communists in the "red years" for their original mission and forging ahead. They sang the Yellow River Cantata together with sonorous voices, expressing the unyielding spirit and resisting power of Chinese nation, and conveying their love for the magnificent mountains and rivers of the country and hope for beautiful life.

The staff members visit Yangjialing Revolutionary Site. At the central hall, the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held. The Seventh National Congress was the last and most important congress of the Communist Party of China before the democratic revolution.

At the Zaoyuan Revolutionary Site, to better understand the spirit of serving the people, the staff members were told about Zhang Side going all out to serve the people. Numerous stories and deeds depicted a complete image of Zhang Side and revealed his spirit of self-sacrifice for people's interests, willingness to bear the burden of hard works, and thrifty and perseverance. They seemed having a talk with the revolutionary martyrs across space and time, and understood the significance of such spirit for modern times. They believed we should practice such spirit in specific work and cause, to enhance the meaning and value of our life.

The last stop, Liangjiahe Village, Yanchuan County. Here the staff members admired the source of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and once again consolidated their original mission and responsibility to serve the people. They shared their opinions on inspiration of grassroots work for the cadres' growth, and set a clear direction for future work and life.

Holding up a handful of soil of Yan'an and water of the Yanhe River, they were filled with reverence and holy sentiment. The Yan'an period is the most vivid and persuasive part of the centurial Party history. Yan'an was chosen by the history, and the great Yan'an Spirit has become a "red" lighthouse motivating Chinese communists to forge ahead with great resolve. Looking back on the arduous struggling history and looking into the road of pressing ahead in front of us, we must carefully learn and summarize the Party history and inherit and carry forward its successful experiences and spirit. Today, in new historical conditions, the reason why we implement the arrangements of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core and seriously learn and practice the Yan'an Spirit is to remember the glorious history and carry forward the revolutionary tradition, to offer strong spiritual support to achieve the new goal of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way.

The lights in Zaoyuan, the production scenes in Nanniwan, and the perpetual revolutionary stories and spirit of the holy revolutionary land of China greatly touched the heart of everyone in this study, and strengthened their resolve and will to listen to the Party and follow its lead. Among them, a company officer wrote by hand an application for joining the Party at a night during the study and submitted it to the Party Branch. Between the lines was his deep love and infinite yearning for the Party and vow to carry out assignments of the Party. They determined to summarize what they'd learnt during the trip, to live up to the trust in them and save time to press ahead with great resolve. They resolved to go all out at work and make their own contributions to our company, the society and the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!
